Company Profile

Company Overview

We would like the opportunity to introduce ourselves, as well as our sports assigning company, Mile High Officials. MHO is a family owned business and is operated by its founder. We have been serving the Denver Metro Area for eight years, while building a reputable reputation with not only our clients, but also with the Colorado Secretary of State.

The mission of Mile High Officials is to develop, condition, supply, and to educate officials to be fundamentally prepared for each game assignment. We have built a strong staff of college & high school certified officials to referee each event, as well as designated a site supervisor at each sporting event to address any issues or concerns.

We would like to discuss with you Mile High Officials assigning services and how it can be beneficial to your needs, especially in terms of consistency. At a glance, we would like to point out what we offer: 1) Our organization carries a 3 million dollar insurance policy that covers our contracted officials, staff members, and any group we assign for, as well as their subsidiaries; 2) Through the utilization of Arbiter Sports, we provide an up-to-date scheduled layout of each league / tournament that is accessible to anyone 24/7. In addition, Arbiter Sports also displays officials’ assignments, and contact information. Having all of this information readily available diminishes the confusion factor; there is no confusion as to which official is working at what location. Most importantly, we provide a constant flow of communication between our client, assignor, and officials, which fosters a well-organized and smoothly ran sports program. In addition, our staff consists of over 250 highly qualified sport officials that are qualified at the High school level through CHSAA, and who also officiate at the collegiate level. Each official is required to complete an independent contractors agreement with MHO vowing to illustrate the foundations of this organization at all times.

We require each official to arrive early to his or her scheduled game time, and to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. In addition, each official is required to know and apply the rules properly and to work effectively to position themselves to get the best look on the play. Ultimately, MHO officials are expected to demonstrate good communication skills and manage the game accordingly at all times. These standards will be reviewed and monitored by the site supervisor. Any misconducts or violations may result in a discharge from service with MHO.

Mile High Officials is extremely open and willing to negotiate prices for officials and services provided. We will work with your needs, in order to provide you with a reliable and affordable assigning service. This letter of intent is not to undercut or take from any other assignor you may be using, but rather to introduce the opportunity of a service that would be financially feasible and beneficial to your organization. We would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you in discussing how Mile High Officials could be of assistance to your assigning needs. Please feel free to contact MHO with any questions or to inquire about services at 720.432.0354.

Thank you for your time,
