Summary
Coordinates Clubhouse activities and front desk operations including all aspects of reservations for activities, classes, and facility rentals, processes payments, refunds, and point of sale transactions. Provides guidance and support to front desk staff, instructors and volunteers to ensure high-quality resident experiences and successful achievement of departmental goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Trains, schedules, and supports front desk staff.
Maintains and updates the calendar of Clubhouse events and activities.
Collaborates with the Clubhouse Manager and Assistant Manager to address operational concerns, conflicts, and program improvements.
Communicates team goals and expectations; provides coaching and support to promote professional growth and team effectiveness.
Partners with the Clubhouse Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure smooth operations, quality programming, and resident satisfaction.
Coordinates day to day cash-handling for all trips, activities, and events.
Oversees and delegates appropriate projects to front desk staff.
Assists with seasonal and special event decorating within the Clubhouse Center.
Provides support and guidance to volunteers assisting with programs, activities, and operations.
Schedules Clubs, Events and Room Reservations to ensure smooth operations throughout the Clubhouse.
Works closely with Custodial staff to ensure proper set ups and ample time be given for smooth transitions and efficient and effective workflow.
Assists Assistant Clubhouse Manager and Clubhouse Manager with a variety of projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience
Some college or university coursework in recreation, leisure studies, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a recreation or leisure facility, community center, or similar program environment.
Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain within a designated time frame.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Comprehensive understanding of community recreation center and leisure programming.
Strong knowledge of event planning, scheduling, and recreational program coordination.
Familiarity with the needs and interests of mature adults and the effects of the aging process.
Working knowledge of arts, crafts, fitness, and entertainment program selection.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and volunteers.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Must genuinely enjoy working with mature adults and fostering a welcoming community environment.
Knowledge of Activenet is a plus.
