Position Summary, Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Massage Therapist provides high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, reduce stress, relieve pain, and support overall wellness. This role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and customized treatments while maintaining a professional and client-focused environment.

Requirements

Job Qualifications
 

• Must be 18 years old. 
• Valid state licensure/certification as a Massage Therapist
• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism
• CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days

 
Education and Experience
 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program
• Coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology strongly preferred

 
Work Environment
 

• Work is conducted in a private setting with clients on an individual basis.

Physical Activities:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to reach, grasp, and handle small objects, tools, or equipment with precision.
• Ability to monitor participants, ensure safety, and respond to signals or emergencies.
